SAP's Devanahalli Campus Opens, Second Phase Set for 2028 Completion.
SAP Labs India has officially opened its new campus in Devanahalli, a significant expansion that underscores the company’s commitment to its presence in India. The new facility, part of a phased development, represents a total investment of €194 million and is designed to accommodate 15,000 professionals. This makes it one of SAP's largest campuses worldwide.
The SAP Labs India Innovation Park spans 41 acres near the Bengaluru International Airport, more than double the size of the company's existing 22-acre Whitefield campus. Already, 3,200 employees have moved into the new location, with plans to house 4,500 over the next several months. The initial built-up area covers 27 acres.
Looking ahead, Phase Two of the project has been approved and is slated for completion by the third quarter of 2028.
According to Sindhu Gangadharan, Managing Director of SAP Labs India, the company will continue its robust hiring strategy. "On an average, over the last few years, we have hired anywhere between 1,500 to 2,000," she stated. "Some of the best talent in the world is here... we will continue hiring."
