SECI reschedules pre-bid meeting for 2,000-MW ISTS-connected wind project.

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) recently said it has rescheduled the pre-bid meeting date for setting up of 2,000-MW interstate transmission-connected wind power projects to 30 April, 2020.

It added that the meeting would be conducted through video-conferencing, and invitations to the meeting will be sent on 29 April, 2020.

“RfS for selection of wind power developers for setting up of 2,000-MW ISTS-connected wind power projects in India under tariff-based competitive bidding under tranch-IX dated 20 March, 2020 has been rescheduled to 30 April, 2020 at 14:00 hr,” SECI said in a statement.

Prospective bidders interested to participate in the pre-bid latest by 28 April, 2020, it added. SECI had invited proposals for the projects on a build-own-operate basis. The last date for submission of bids is May 6, 2020.
