Servotech Wins Major EV Charging Contract in Kerala.

Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a leading manufacturer of EV chargers, has won a contract from the Kerala government’s Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) to construct 12 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

The company’s shares were trading at ₹134.92, up by ₹4.16 or 3.18 percent on the NSE at 3:15 pm today, reflecting positive market response to the news.

The contract entails Servotech's responsibility to supply, commission, and construct 30kW fast DC EV charging stations at various Kerala Motor Vehicle Department locations. The project will be carried out in two phases, with the first phase seeing the installation of four charging stations, followed by the addition of eight more in the second phase.

This initiative is a key step in Kerala’s push towards sustainable transportation by enhancing the state's EV charging network. As the demand for electric vehicles increases, this expanded infrastructure will offer EV owners more convenient recharging options while on the go.
