Sharika Enterprises Secures Uttarakhand Grid Modernisation Order in SCADA-ADMS Push.

Sharika Enterprises Limited, a provider of power sector and smart infrastructure solutions, has secured a key subcontract for the deployment of an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) under Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited’s (UPCL) flagship Ganga Corridor power distribution modernisation project.

The project is being implemented under the Government of India’s Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) through East India Udyog Limited (EIUL), the lead contractor. It covers major urban centres including Dehradun, Haridwar and Rishikesh, and aims to modernise the region’s electricity distribution network through an integrated SCADA-ADMS platform combining Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distribution Management System (DMS) and Outage Management System (OMS) capabilities.

The award marks Sharika Enterprises’ entry into India’s rapidly growing SCADA-ADMS market, which is playing a key role in the digital transformation of the country’s power distribution infrastructure. The company said it will deploy advanced grid automation and intelligent network management technologies to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.

The integrated system is expected to provide utilities with real-time network visibility, faster fault detection and restoration, improved outage management, and better asset utilisation. It is also aimed at strengthening grid reliability, improving power quality and enabling data-driven decision-making for distribution utilities.

Commenting on the development, Sharika Enterprises CEO Sanjay Verma said the project represents a significant milestone for the company’s expansion into the SCADA-ADMS segment.

“This project represents a significant milestone for Sharika as we formally enter the SCADA-ADMS segment, one of the fastest-growing areas in India’s power sector modernisation journey,” Verma said. “The award reflects our growing capabilities in grid automation, digital utility solutions, and smart infrastructure.”

The company said it will execute the project in collaboration with East India Udyog Limited and technology partner Spin Engenharia of Brazil, as part of its efforts under the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Sharika Enterprises said it continues to expand its presence across utility automation, smart grids, substation modernisation and renewable energy integration segments, strengthening its position in India’s evolving energy infrastructure ecosystem.
