Shree Cement Finalizes Commissioning of Kodla Integrated Plant.

Shree Cement Limited has successfully commissioned a 3.50 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) cement mill at its Kodla integrated cement plant in Kalaburagi District on March 14, 2026, marking the completion of the facility’s key operational components.

The commissioning follows the earlier start-up of the plant’s clinkerisation section on February 24, 2026, bringing the integrated facility fully online. Through equipment optimization and process improvements, the company has enhanced the plant’s final cement capacity to 3.50 MTPA, exceeding the initial projection of 3.0 MTPA.

With the latest addition, the Kodla plant’s total cement capacity has reached 6.50 MTPA, strengthening the company’s production footprint in southern India.

The development also increases Shree Cement’s total cement production capacity in India to nearly 70 MTPA, reinforcing its position among the country’s leading cement manufacturers.
