Singapore eyes business partnership with Gujarat
Ahmedabad: A delegation from Singapore is in town to discuss possible business partnerships with businessmen from the city. At a function organised by the CII and led by Mr S.M.S. Balaji, Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, 25 representations from sectors such as oil and gas, tourism, logistics, commodities, building and construction and airport management were made from Gujarat.
Possibility of joint business ventures were discussed between Gujarat and Singapore. Taking a cue from the Deutsche Bank Research, which indicates that Gujarat offers the most favourable outlook for the growth of demand for infrastructure projects, Mr Sujit Gulati, Industries Commissioner, Government of Gujarat invited the delegation to view investment opportunities in petroleum chemicals and ports urban infrastructure.
