Sobha Developers to start work on Villa project

Bangalore: Bangalore-based Sobha Developers will start work on projects covering 12 million sq ft space in the next financial year. This is apart from the 12-million sq ft of existing projects under progress across the country.

Speaking to reporters after the launch of its new residential villa project ‘Sobha Lifestyle’ here on Saturday, Mr J.C. Sharma, Managing Director, Sobha Developers Ltd, said that though the ongoing projects are mainly residential, projects in the pipeline include both commercial properties (four million sq ft) and residential (eight million sq ft) spaEce.

The group has also ventured into developing retail space with the launch of the Sobha Global Mall in Bangalore. Sobha’s villa project cost is estimated to be approximately Rs 260 crore and is expected to be ready by end of 2010.
