Subhash to foray into urban infra projects

Kolkata: Subhash Projects & Marketing (SPML), the Rs 1167 crore company, will be foraying into urban transport infrastructure projects this fiscal to expand their product portfolio.

S C Sethi, vice-chairman of SPML, said, 'SPML will be foraying into urban transport infrastructure projects this year.'

The company recently qualified in pre-qualification bids for two government airport building projects in Indore and Raipur.

Each project for complete airport building was worth Rs 300 crore. This apart, the company has also pre-qualified in the bid for upcoming metro rail project in Kolkata and bus terminal upgradation project in Bangalore and Orissa.

'We will hire the skills and expertise needed for the upcoming airport and railway projects from a Thailand-based partner', said Sethi.
