Tamil Nadu Cabinet Approves Incentives for 46 Projects, Attracts ₹31,592 Crore Investment.
The Tamil Nadu Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, on Monday approved incentives for 46 new and expansion projects across the state, with a total committed investment of ₹31,592 crore and potential to generate 61,521 jobs, according to a government release.
The projects will span multiple districts, including Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Namakkal, Perambalur, Theni, Dindigul, Karur, Tiruppur, Salem, Coimbatore, and Thoothukudi.
Key investments highlighted in the release include:
Sakthi Aircraft Industry – training aircraft component assembly and maintenance facility
Dixon Technologies and SFO Technologies – electronics manufacturing units
Vikram Solar – battery energy storage system (BESS) assembly unit
Schneider Electric Group – refrigeration equipment manufacturing facility
Bharat Biotech Group – life sciences products park
Caterpillar Inc. Group – construction machinery and equipment manufacturing
Boeing – advanced aerospace research and development centre
Saint-Gobain – glass products manufacturing
The approvals cover multiple sectors, signaling a significant boost to Tamil Nadu’s industrial growth and employment landscape.
