Tamil Nadu Highlights Industrial Strengths to Vietnamese Investors.

Tamil Nadu is intensifying its pursuit of the "China Plus One" strategy, with state officials recently visiting Vietnam – a nation that has significantly benefited from the global supply chain realignment. The move underscores Tamil Nadu's ambition to solidify its position as a global manufacturing hub.

TRB Rajaa, Tamil Nadu's Minister for Industries, Investment Promotions and Commerce, led a roadshow in Vietnam last week. During his visit, Minister Rajaa reportedly engaged with major Taiwanese companies that have established a presence in Vietnam, as well as prominent homegrown Vietnamese firms. The primary objectives of these meetings were to forge new supply chain partnerships and to showcase Tamil Nadu's robust industrial capabilities to Vietnam's own industrial players.

The outreach to Vietnam is a strategic step in Tamil Nadu's ongoing efforts to attract foreign investment and diversify global manufacturing operations away from China. By highlighting its industrial strengths and potential for collaboration, Tamil Nadu aims to draw new businesses and further integrate itself into the evolving global supply chain landscape.
