"Tata Power Solar Installs Rooftop Solar Systems at 600 Sites Across Chhattisgarh"

Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd (TPSSL) has installed rooftop solar systems at over 600 locations in Chhattisgarh as part of its "GharGharSolar, Tata Power ke Sang" initiative, a company official announced. This effort, launched after the success of similar projects in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Kerala, aims to bring clean energy to households across the state.

Although the installations began earlier this year, the initiative was officially inaugurated by Tata Power CEO and MD Praveer Sinha, along with Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) CEO and MD Deepesh Nanda. "The goal is to promote sustainable energy solutions throughout India, making clean energy accessible to all households in Chhattisgarh," the official stated.

Chhattisgarh has become a key area for TPSSL's efforts, with the initiative spanning all 33 districts of the state. The installations cover residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, with a combined capacity of over 250 MW.

In alignment with the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, residents can benefit from government subsidies to make solar installations more affordable. The subsidies include ₹30,000 for 1 kW systems, ₹60,000 for 2 kW, and up to ₹78,000 for systems ranging from 3 to 10 kW, easing the financial burden for households transitioning to renewable energy.
