Tata Power, Tata Motors Join Forces to Establish Mega EV Charging Hub in Mumbai.

In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, Tata Power and Tata Motors have launched a co-branded, high-speed electric vehicle (EV) charging hub in Mumbai, with plans to expand to other cities.

The new facility, located at The Leela hotel in the western suburb of Andheri near the international airport's Terminal 2, is being touted as India's largest mega charging hub. It can charge up to 16 vehicles simultaneously at speeds of up to 120 kW.

According to Praveer Sinha, CEO and MD of Tata Power, this initiative is a key part of a broader vision to build a robust EV charging infrastructure across the country. The joint venture between the two Tata Group companies is a significant step toward addressing the growing demand for EV charging solutions and supporting the adoption of electric mobility in India.
