Tata Projects Expects Order Intake to Double, Surpassing ₹20,000 Crore in FY25.

Tata Projects, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction firm, anticipates doubling its order intake to exceed ₹20,000 crore in the current fiscal, driven by robust demand in urban infrastructure and manufacturing. The company also forecasts low- to mid-double-digit revenue growth and high double-digit net profit increases, according to Managing Director Vinayak Pai.

With an outstanding order book of over ₹40,000 crore, Tata Projects saw a record ₹10,331 crore in orders in FY24, closing the year with a ₹36,780 crore standalone order book. Last fiscal, the company achieved a net profit of ₹82 crore on revenues of ₹17,761 crore, following two years of losses.

Pai dismissed near-term listing plans, focusing instead on financial stability and consistent profitability. He highlighted a strong pipeline of project opportunities totaling around ₹50,000 crore, particularly in urban infrastructure, including metro projects in Bengaluru, Indore, and Pune.

Key ongoing projects include the Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh, Micron's semiconductor facility in Sanand, and a maritime heritage museum in Lothal, Gujarat. Tata Projects recently commenced work on Tata Electronics' semiconductor facility in Dholera and Agratas' battery plant in Sanand, with Tata-related projects expected to grow as the group expands into semiconductors.

Among the largest undertakings is the ₹11,744-crore BDD chawl redevelopment in Worli, Mumbai, expected to complete its first phase in the next two years and be fully delivered in 5–7 years.

Beyond urban infrastructure, Tata Projects maintains a diversified portfolio across metals, power transmission, refining, and emerging sectors like renewables and data centers. “India’s growth as a global manufacturing hub presents immense opportunity,” said Pai, emphasizing the company’s commitment to predictable, sustainable project delivery.
