The Taj Group opens seventh property in NCR.

The Taj Group recently announced the launch of its seventh property in NCR - Vivanta by Taj – Dwarka. With this, the group now has a total of 30 properties under the Vivanta brand.

The property, spread across seven acres, is located in close proximity to the airport and the business district of Gurgaon.

Veer Vijay Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Vivanta by Taj Hotels & Resorts, said, 'The Indian hospitality industry is at an interesting stage where demand is burgeoning across the country. Vivanta by Taj is poised to capture this growing demand with its broad set of offerings and its culture of service excellence.'

The hotel has 250 rooms, including 17 suites and a Presidential suite, in addition to a lounge and all-day dining restaurant Creo, The Indus Express offering pre-Independence Punjabi cuisine, Caramel - the deli, and the bar Tipple. The property also houses the Jiva Spa, a pool, nine meeting rooms, and a fitness centre.

The group operates four brands - Taj in the luxury space, Vivanta by Taj in the upper upscale, Gateway in the midscale segment and Ginger in the budget space.
