Titagarh Rail Systems Joins Hands with TuTr Hyperloop for Hyperloop Technology Collaboration.

Rolling stock manufacturer Titagarh Rail Systems recently said it has entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with TuTr Hyperloop, a technology company specialising in Hyperloop propulsion and advanced mobility systems.

TuTr Hyperloop, an IIT Madras-incubated deep-tech startup, is working on developing indigenous Hyperloop, magnetic levitation (Maglev) and linear induction motor technologies aimed at enabling high-speed cargo and passenger transportation systems in India and overseas.

In a stock exchange filing, the Kolkata-based company said the collaboration is focused on developing first-of-its-kind Hyperloop-enabled freight transportation solutions from India.

The partnership marks Titagarh Rail Systems’ entry into next-generation mobility technologies as part of efforts to explore advanced rail and logistics solutions.
