Tvasta Constructs India’s First 3D-Printed Villa for Godrej Properties in Pune.
In a move to highlight the potential of 3D-printed homes, deep-tech start-up Tvasta Manufacturing Solutions has constructed a 3D-printed villa for Godrej Properties at Godrej Eden Estate in Pune.
The ground-plus-one (G+1) villa, spanning 2,200 sq. ft., was built entirely on-site using a concrete 3D printer and completed in just four months, from June to October 2024.
Chennai-based Tvasta, founded in 2016 by IIT Madras alumni, specializes in automation and robotics-driven construction for faster, cost-effective, and sustainable building solutions. The company is currently developing multi-storey structures, including villas, office buildings, and luxury guesthouses, and is working with government, academia, and industry to refine its technology.
Tvasta also focuses on sustainability by repurposing construction and industrial waste. The 3D-printed walls of the villa are designed to enhance insulation, lowering energy consumption and utility costs.
“Tvasta remains committed to advancing this technology further, with plans to scale operations and develop more collaborative partnerships in the construction space,” said Parivarthan Reddy, Co-Founder of Tvasta Manufacturing Solutions.
Expanding beyond India, Tvasta has also entered international markets, supplying construction 3D printers to the US and the Middle East.
