TVS ILP to Invest ₹50 Crore in 1.4 Lakh Sq Ft Industrial Facility in Siliguri.

TVS Industrial and Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), a part of the TVS Mobility Group, has strengthened its footprint in eastern India with the acquisition of a 1.4 lakh sq. ft. industrial facility in Siliguri, West Bengal. The investment, amounting to ₹50 crore, includes a 5.66-acre site in Fulbari.

This development positions TVS ILP as the first major industrial developer in Siliguri, further cementing its role as a pioneer in delivering Grade A industrial infrastructure across the country, according to an official release.

Siliguri, often referred to as the "gateway to North-East India," straddles the Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts and has emerged as a critical hub for transportation and logistics. Traditionally known for its tea, timber, and tourism industries, the city’s strategic location along the Eastern Corridor and proximity to NH 27 have propelled it into a key position for trade and industrial operations.

The new facility, named Siliguri Park, is designed for operational efficiency and flexibility. It currently houses a leading e-commerce player and offers build-to-suit options to cater to diverse business needs.

In addition to the Siliguri project, TVS ILP also operates a facility in Cuttack, Odisha, and is exploring further expansion opportunities across the region, the release added.

This move highlights TVS ILP’s commitment to enhancing logistics and industrial infrastructure across India while tapping into emerging markets with high growth potential.
