Twelve Mining Projects of Coal India Subsidiary SECL Running Behind Schedule

Twelve coal mining projects of South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL), a subsidiary of Coal India and a Mini Ratna public sector enterprise, are running behind schedule due to delays in environmental clearances and land acquisition.

The delays come despite the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance domestic coal production and cut down on imports.
