UltraTech opens 5 retail outlets in Orissa

Bhubaneswar: UltraTech Cement, a leading cement company and part of Aditya Birla Group, has opened 5 retail outlets called UltraTech Building Solutions (UBS) in Orissa. These outlets are located in Bhubaneswar, Puri and Cuttack.

This is the first ever entry of UBS retail outlets in the construction markets of the state. It also plans to open more retail outlets in the state in future.

Currently, the company has 89 outlets in states such as Gujarat, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. It is planning to open 400 such outlets across the country in 2009 and expand its foot prints to 6 more states, OP Puranmalka, chief marketing officer, UltraTech Cement, informed in Orissa.
