Universal Success Enterprises (USE) to sign a fresh pact for Bengal project
Financial Chronicle reported that Singapore firm to sign a fresh pact for Bengal project
Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal, which had earlier scrapped the PCPIR (petroleum, chemicals and petrochemicals investment region) or chemical hub project at Nayachar in East Medinipur, is now well set to ink a fresh pact with the same group- Universal Success Enterprises (USE) promoted by the Singapore-based NRI industrialist Prasoon Mukherjee, for an eco-friendly industrial park, a thermal power plant project and a eco-tourism project on the same 11,800 acres land at Nayachar.
The state government and Mukherjee's company could come to this point of agreement after the latter agreed to state government’s request for giving up its demand for a cumulative interest of around Rs 32 crore.
