"UPC Volt to Launch ₹5,000 Crore Green AI Data Center with 100 MW Renewable Capacity."

UPC Volt, a joint venture between Netherlands-based UPC Renewables Group and VOLT Data Centers, will establish a 100 MW AI-ready data centre in Bharat Future City, a new city planned on the south-eastern outskirts of Hyderabad. The facility will be powered by a dedicated 100 MW renewable energy plant.The project, with an investment of ₹5,000 crore, is expected to generate around 800 direct and indirect jobs once operational.

Company representatives signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Telangana government officials on Thursday during the World Economic Forum (WEF) summit in Davos, Switzerland.
