US Insurer The Hartford Establishes New Tech Centre in India.

US-based insurance company The Hartford has launched a new technology centre in Hyderabad in collaboration with IT services firm Capgemini. The facility will serve as a hub for engineering and focus on key areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, and advanced technology development.

According to a company official, the new centre will operate in a "start-up-like environment" to enable rapid prototyping and experimentation across different time zones. It will complement The Hartford's existing technology hubs in the United States.

"We are advancing our digital, data analytics, and AI capabilities to create customized, fast, reliable, and more meaningful customer experiences," said Jeff Hawkins, The Hartford’s Chief Data, AI, and Operations Officer. The new centre is part of the company's broader strategy to enhance its technological capabilities and improve customer interactions.
