Vayona Energy Bags 702 MW Wind Turbine Order from TPREL.

Vayona Energy, a Murugappa Group-backed wind turbine maker, has signed an agreement to supply wind turbines to Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL).

Under the pact, Vayona Energy will supply 195 units of its SG 3.6-145 wind turbines for TPREL’s projects spread across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. The installations are expected to add a cumulative capacity of 702 MW.

Commenting on the development, Prashant Jain, Executive Vice Chairman of Vayona Energy, said the company values TPREL’s continued trust and looks forward to strengthening the partnership while driving sustainable growth through the projects.
