Waaree Energies Lands 220 MW Solar PV Modules Deal with Sprng Energy

Waaree Energies forged a strategic alliance with Sprng Energy on Monday, announcing a significant deal to supply 220 megawatts (MW) of solar PV modules.

Under this collaboration, Waaree Energies will provide 220 MW of AHNAY Series Bi-55 545Wp modules for Sprng Energy's project in Gujarat, which is part of the Shell Group.

Sprng Energy, with renewable energy projects spanning across India, boasts a cumulative contracted capacity exceeding 4.8 gigawatts power (GWp) and an operational portfolio of 2.3 GWp.

Hitesh Chimanlal Doshi, Chairman and Managing Director of Waaree Group, expressed confidence in their ability to contribute to numerous solar projects through the delivery of their solar PV modules. He underscored that this partnership signifies an opportunity for Waaree to play a pivotal role in advancing India's green energy sector, aligning with the nation's sustainability objectives.

Gaurav Sood, CEO of Sprng Energy, emphasized Waaree's established reputation in the industry, positioning them as an ideal partner for their project expansion endeavors. He anticipates a fruitful collaboration that will further their commitment to continuously supplying green energy to the national grid.
