Waaree Energies Secures 236 MW Solar Module Deal in Kentucky via US Unit.

Waaree Energies has secured a new order in the United States through its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas, to supply 236.22 MW of solar modules for a utility-scale solar project in Flemingsburg, Kentucky.

Under the one-time supply agreement, Waaree Solar Americas will provide its N-Type G12R photovoltaic modules in 615 Wp and 620 Wp variants. The modules will be manufactured at the company's Brookshire, Texas, facility, with deliveries scheduled across the first and second quarters of FY28.

The company did not disclose the value of the contract or the identity of the customer, describing it only as an international developer and operator of sustainable infrastructure projects in the renewable energy sector.

The order further strengthens Waaree Energies' pipeline in one of its key overseas markets and comes days after the company clarified that an ongoing US customs matter had not impacted its business operations.
