Welspun Corp Secures ₹1,300 Crore Pipe Supply Order in the U.S.

Homegrown manufacturer Welspun Corp Ltd (WCL) announced on Monday that it has secured two new contracts in the United States, valued at ₹1,300 crore, to supply specialized pipes for natural gas pipeline projects. The company plans to execute the order for Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes during the financial year 2025-26, as stated in a filing with the stock exchanges.

Welspun Corp expressed optimism about its prospects in the U.S. market, noting, "Our outlook for the USA market remains extremely positive. We have also participated in a few more projects and are favourably placed in additional 1-2 large projects."

As part of the $5 billion Welspun Group, Welspun Corp specializes in the manufacture and distribution of steel and steel products. The company operates a greenfield facility in Anjar, Gujarat, with a total production capacity of 500,000 metric tonnes per annum, where it produces ductile iron (DI) pipes.
