Wonder Cement Unveils Plans for New Production Unit in Tulsigam, Gujarat

In a significant development, Wonder Cement, a leading cement manufacturer, has officially announced its plans to establish a new production facility in Tulsigam, Gujarat. The company has not only expanded its manufacturing capabilities but has also achieved a notable milestone by reaching an impressive 18 MTPA (Million Tons Per Annum) cement production capacity in the year 2023.

The forthcoming Tulsigam unit is poised to play a crucial role in enhancing Wonder Cement's manufacturing prowess. It will seamlessly integrate with the existing production lines, reinforcing the company's commitment to meeting the escalating market demand while ensuring enhanced serviceability to consumers, according to an official statement released by the company.

Vivek Patni, Director of Wonder Cement, expressed the strategic significance of each move, including the establishment of the new Tulsigam grinding unit, aligning with the company's dedication to addressing the evolving infrastructural demands of Bharat (India). Patni emphasized Wonder Cement's ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and positive societal impact.

Wonder Cement embarked on its journey in 2012 with the foundation stone laid for its first unit in Nimbahera, Rajasthan, boasting a cement capacity of 3 MTPA. Over the years, the company has expanded its production footprint with additional units in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana. The year 2023 marked a significant milestone for Wonder Cement as it achieved a total cement capacity of 18 MTPA with the initiation of its fourth production line and the addition of grinding units in Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.

The company highlighted its steadfast commitment to sustainability, making it a cornerstone of its operations. Wonder Cement actively integrates renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar power, into its manufacturing processes. The strategic implementation of Waste Heat Recovery Systems (WHRS) further optimizes energy efficiency and minimizes the carbon footprint. The company generates 60MW of power through green energy initiatives.
