Ather Energy to Double Retail Network to 700 Centers, Expand Service Infrastructure by FY26.

Indian electric scooter manufacturer Ather Energy announced today an ambitious plan to significantly expand its retail footprint, aiming to double its retail network to 700 experience centers across India by the end of fiscal year 2026. This strategic expansion is particularly focused on strengthening the company's presence in the northern regions of the country.

As of March 31, Ather Energy operated 351 retail centers nationwide. A significant portion of these, nearly half, are currently concentrated in South India, where the company initially established its operations following its founding in 2013.

The e-scooter maker revealed its intention to triple its store count in North India within the current fiscal year. Additionally, Ather plans to expand its retail presence in the eastern and western markets of the country by the close of the current fiscal period. This aggressive expansion strategy underscores Ather's commitment to capturing a larger share of India's rapidly growing electric vehicle market.
