"AXISCADES has been awarded a ₹100 crore contract to provide critical components for India's Ashwini radar system."

Bengaluru-based engineering and technology solutions firm AXISCADES has secured an order worth ₹100 crore under the LLTR Ashwini programme, India’s indigenous Low-Level Transportable Radar system developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in collaboration with Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL).

Under the contract, AXISCADES will manufacture and supply Signal and Data Processing Units (SDPUs), along with associated spares, the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the order win, C Manikandan, Chief Executive Officer of Mistral Solutions Private Ltd, said the LLTR Ashwini programme reflects the company’s continued commitment to India’s defence indigenisation efforts. “This win underscores Mistral’s focus on supporting critical technologies for next-generation military systems,” he said.

The order strengthens AXISCADES’ presence in the defence electronics segment and aligns with the government’s push for self-reliance in defence manufacturing
