Baosteel signs strategic cooperation agreement with Tianwei Group.

Recently, Baosteel signs strategic cooperation agreement with Hebei based Tianwei Group to jointly improve technological research & development and market competitiveness.

Tianwei Group, located in Hebei Baoding, is a wholly owned subsidiary of China South Industries Group Corporation and a large equipment manufacturer of China. It keeps a good relationship with Baosteel since its silicon steel product line put into operation in 2008.

Over the past few years, Baosteel has become one of the important suppliers of Tianwei Group. The two parties have set up a laboratory to jointly work on research& development.
