Agri-solutions provider Coromandel International has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) to establish a Corporate Research Centre at the IITM Research Park.

The centre will serve as a hub for joint research programs, technology incubation, talent development, and international collaboration. It will allow Coromandel to leverage IIT Madras’ innovation ecosystem and technology infrastructure for initiatives both in India and abroad.

The announcement was made during the inauguration of the IITM Global Research Foundation, presided over by S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, Government of India. The ceremony was attended by Narayanan Vellayan, Whole-time Director – Strategic Sourcing, Coromandel International, and V. Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras.
