Crompton Greaves bags $105-mn order from Indonesian firm.

Avantha Group company Crompton Greaves has bagged a $105-million (Rs. 715 crore) order from Indonesia's state-owned electricity firm PT PLN to make and install power transformers.

The company in a BSE filing said it 'has won a significant order of $105 million from PT PLN... to manufacture and install power transformers'.

Crompton Greaves' power transformers will be installed across PT PLN’s transmission network spread across multiple substations and power plants in Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan Sulawesi and the Papua Islands of the Indonesian archipelago.
