Euronics Starts Operations at New Manufacturing Plant in Gurugram.

Euronics, a leading firm in public washroom automation, has commenced operations at its newly inaugurated manufacturing facility in Gurugram. The CEO and MD of Euronics, Viknesh Jain, highlighted that this move comes in response to the growing demand for commercial and public washroom facilities in recent years.

"This facility is poised to address the burgeoning demand," Jain stated, aiming for a target of ₹400 crore in revenue over the next two fiscal years, starting from FY 2025-26. He emphasized that the plant will significantly enhance production capabilities, handling 50% of current average order volumes.

In line with Euronics' commitment to sustainability, Jain outlined initiatives focused on water conservation, reducing tissue paper dependency, and saving electricity. The establishment of the new facility is expected to create around 200 blue-collar jobs.

When asked about expansion into residential washroom solutions, Jain underscored Euronics' current focus on enhancing commercial spaces. He highlighted the unique challenges of public bathrooms in India, such as water wastage and tissue paper usage, which differ significantly from residential settings.

Euronics has also pivoted towards online commerce platforms like Amazon, targeting ₹280 crore in FY 2025. The firm is poised to close FY 2024 with approximately ₹200 crore in revenue, transitioning from B2B enterprise sales.

Established in 2002, Euronics has carved a niche in public washroom automation, serving Fortune 500 companies and prominent projects including the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, India International Convention & Expo Center (Yashobhoomi), and numerous airport facilities across major cities in India. They have also contributed to Smart City initiatives, AIIMS projects nationwide, and installations at the Supreme Court of India.
