FedEx Doubles Capacity in Bengaluru with Launch of New 60,000-Sq-Ft Hub.

Express transportation company Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) has expanded its presence in Bengaluru with the opening of a new 60,000 sq ft express facility at the integrated air hub in the AI-SATS Logistics Park at Kempegowda International Airport.

The addition brings FedEx’s total operational footprint in the city to 100,000 sq ft. The expansion comes as the airport moves ahead with plans to nearly double its annual cargo handling capacity to 1 million tonnes, strengthening Bengaluru’s position as a key export gateway and aligning FedEx’s investment with India’s next phase of high-growth manufacturing and trade.

The semi-automated hub can process up to 4,000 packages per hour, supporting rising demand from sectors such as electronics, auto components, and SME-driven e-commerce exports.
