Four uplifts projects completed in Nangarhar
Jalalabad: Four uplift projects were completed in Kot district Nangarhar province.
Eng. Ahmad Wali Hakimi, head of Rural Rehabilitations and Development department in the province said the projects consisted of cleansing water canals, constructing new canals, supportive wall and 300 meter road.
He said the projects were completed in six months at the cost of over 2.5 million Afghanis. He added over 2300 families will benefit from the projects in the district.
Abdul Aziz Khairkhwa, deputy of provincial council told Pajhwok Afghan News on behalf of the local people that the projects have resolved many problems of local people.
In another reports a bridge was constructed in Sarobi district of Kabul province.
Qazi Sulaiman, Sarobi district chief told Pajhwok Afghan News the bridge was constructed in Sher khan area of the district.
He said the bridge was constructed in three months at the cost of $85000. 'It was constructed on Kabul River by the financial support of French forces.
He said the bridge connects Kohi Safi district of Kapisa province with Kabul.
