GREW Solar has raised ₹1,050 crore in a funding round led by Bay Capital Investment Limited along with two other institutional investors, the company announced recently. The fresh capital will be used to expand its solar cell manufacturing capacity from 3 GW to 8 GW at its Narmadapuram facility in Madhya Pradesh.

The integrated solar PV module manufacturer had earlier secured ₹300 crore from investors including Vijay Kedia and Rohit Kothari of GeeCee Holdings.

According to the company, the latest investment will help strengthen operations and support its strategic expansion plans as it moves toward becoming a fully integrated solar manufacturing player.

Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director of GREW Solar, said the funding underscores investor confidence in the company’s manufacturing capabilities and growth strategy. He added that the capital infusion will accelerate capacity expansion, enhance operational efficiencies, and drive technological advancements.
