GSPC and Adani to set up a LNG import terminal at Mundra SEZ.

It is reported that a LNG import terminal, costing INR 4,500 crore, is to be set up jointly by Adani Group and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation at Mundra special economic zone in Gujarat by December 2016.

Sources said that GSPC LNG Limited, a unit of GSPC, received consent some time back to become a co-developer of the multi-product SEZ being developed by Adani Ports at Mundra.

Sources added that the terminal is likely to be of 5 million tonne a year capacity, together with storage and re-gasification facilities, spread over an area of 28 hectares.
