IIT-Madras Partners with PKF Sridhar & Santhanam to Develop Mobility Tech Infrastructure

KF Sridhar & Santhanam LLP has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) to develop the 'Bharat Multi-Modal Mobility Stack' (BM3S). This initiative, part of the Mobility and Intelligent Transportation (MInT) project, aims to create a global digital mobility infrastructure promoting sustainable, smart, and energy-efficient transportation solutions aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The collaboration will see industry, government, and academia co-create solutions.

BM3S will focus on advancements in electric vehicles, autonomous driving, and intelligent transportation systems. It aims to integrate various technologies, including data streams, payment systems, vehicle technologies, and digital twin models.

S Santhanakrishnan, Chairman of PKF Sridhar & Santhanam LLP, stated, "As experts in control systems, PKF Sridhar & Santhanam LLP will leverage its extensive industry experience to establish effective processes and controls during BM3S development."

Manu Santhanam, Dean of Industrial Consulting and Sponsored Research at IIT Madras, added, "IIT Madras is committed to technological innovation through translational research. With several centers focused on mobility and digital technologies, this partnership with PKF Sridhar & Santhanam LLP will accelerate the transition of mobility research into practical applications."
