John Cockerill India Secures Order from Jindal India Ltd.

John Cockerill India Ltd has secured a ₹40 crore contract from Jindal India Ltd for the revamping of the Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL) at Jindal’s Ranihati plant. The contract includes engineering, design, manufacturing, and supply of key equipment, along with supervision of erection and commissioning.

As part of the revamp, John Cockerill India will supply critical components, including an electrolytic cleaning section, vertical entry accumulator, modifications in the furnace, induction dryer, and a second tension reel. The upgraded CGL is expected to be operational by early 2026, enhancing the plant’s efficiency and output.
