Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) recently announced that it has secured new orders worth approximately ₹719 crore.
The orders, bagged by the company along with its joint venture, include a notification of award for an elevated metro rail project in Thane, Maharashtra. The project is part of the Maharashtra government’s broader urban transport expansion initiatives aimed at improving connectivity within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Commenting on the development, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KPIL, said the new order reinforces the company’s growing presence in the urban infrastructure segment.
“We are delighted with the new order win in our Urban Infrastructure business. The elevated metro rail order in Thane has strengthened our presence in the growing urban transportation EPC business,” Mohnot said.
He added that KPIL’s diversified order book, strong order inflows, and execution capabilities position the company well to achieve its growth targets in the coming quarters.
The Thane elevated metro rail project is expected to play a key role in enhancing urban mobility and supporting the region’s rapidly expanding transportation needs.
