Karnataka Invests ₹400 Crore in Deeptech Startups at Future Makers Conclave.
The Government of Karnataka (GoK), in collaboration with leading venture capital firms, has disbursed ₹400 crore to deeptech start-ups at the Future Makers Conclave, one of the largest state-led initiatives to strengthen India’s innovation ecosystem.
Held as part of the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025, the conclave attracted over 11,000 participants, including founders, investors, and industry leaders. Karnataka IT Minister Priyank Kharge said the initiative aims to connect start-ups with venture capital to support “future makers” tackling real-world challenges. “Together we will build an ecosystem that is unmatched in the world,” he said.
The event also unveiled 143 ELEVATE winners, the largest cohort to date under the state’s flagship start-up support programme. Since its inception, ELEVATE has funded 1,084 start-ups, including 390 from regions beyond Bengaluru, reflecting Karnataka’s push to expand its deeptech and innovation footprint across the state.
