"KKR-led group eyes $10B+ acquisition of Singapore data center firm."
A KKR-led consortium is close to reaching a deal to acquire ST Telemedia Global Data Centres, valuing the company at more than S$13 billion ($10.22 billion), the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The consortium, which includes Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (Singtel), would acquire the Singapore-based global data centre operator from its parent company, ST Telemedia, the report said.
Reuters could not independently verify the report. KKR declined to comment, while ST Telemedia Global Data Centres, ST Telemedia and Singtel did not immediately respond to Reuters’ requests for comment outside regular business hours.
If you want it tightened further, localized, or shifted to a different outlet’s style (Bloomberg, FT, etc.), say the word.
