Cochin International Aviation Services Limited (CIASL) is set to significantly boost Kochi's standing in the Indian aviation sector with the unveiling of a ₹50 crore project aimed at transforming the city into a major aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) hub.
The ambitious initiative kicked off today with CIASL Chairman S. Suhas laying the foundation stone for the construction of the company’s third MRO hangar cum covered parking facility at Cochin International Airport.
The new state-of-the-art hangar will span an impressive 53,800 square feet and is projected to be completed within a swift eight-month timeframe.
