Major Data Centers NTT, ST Telemedia, CtrlS Nearing Launch in Bengal's Tech Hub.

Bengal Silicon Valley Tech Hub, Kolkata's ambitious futuristic technology park, is on the cusp of a major operational boost with three leading data center companies – NTT, ST Telemedia, and CtrlS Datacenters – set to commence operations soon. Their imminent launch signifies a significant step forward for the 250-acre tech hub located in New Town.

These companies are among the 41 businesses that have been allotted plots within the sprawling tech park. The West Bengal government, led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, has high hopes for the hub's economic impact. They project that Bengal Silicon Valley will attract investments totaling between ₹30,000-₹35,000 crore, creating an estimated 100,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

The arrival of these major players is expected to further solidify Bengal Silicon Valley's position as a key technology destination in Eastern India, drawing more businesses and fostering a vibrant innovation ecosystem.
