Maytas Infra & Vedanta signed contract

Hyderabad: Maytas Infra Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Vedanta Alumina Ltd (VAL) for developing an integrated township for its staff in Jharsuguda, Orissa. The project would have a total built up area of 14 lakh sq ft and competed in 18 months. The value of the contract is Rs 232.69 crore. The scope of work for Maytas will include constructing the township on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement Construction and Costs) basis including site grading, designing of b uildings and their construction etc. Commenting on the association with VAL, Mr P.K. Madhav, CEO of the company said, “We will build the township with the finest standards of construction using our fine finish”.
