MPEZ Approves New ₹450 Crore Project Pipeline in Tamil Nadu.

The Unit Approval Committee (UAC) of MEPZ Special Economic Zone, chaired by Arthur Worchuiyo, Joint Development Commissioner, MEPZ, has approved a new set of projects across multiple sectors, with total investments exceeding ₹450 crore.

The approvals span industries including IT/ITES, nutraceuticals, warehousing and logistics, engineering services, and footwear, and are expected to further boost industrial development across the Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Puducherry (TAP) region.

According to the committee, the approved projects are likely to generate around 6,650 employment opportunities, contributing significantly to job creation and economic activity in the region.

The latest clearances are expected to accelerate investment momentum in the SEZ ecosystem and strengthen manufacturing and services capacity across participating sectors.
