MRIDC and NMC Commence Infrastructure Repairs in Mominpura.

Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (MRIDC) have commenced infrastructure repairs in Mominpura ahead of Ramzan, following concerns raised by residents and media reports highlighting civic issues.

MRIDC has repaired the road beneath its under-construction flyover, while NMC has begun fixing a collapsed sewage chamber on the main Mominpura road. Officials stated that additional measures will be taken to minimize inconvenience to residents during the holy month.

On February 24, reports highlighted the poor state of roads, encroachment, garbage accumulation, and ongoing sewage work in the area. In response, MRIDC carried out patchwork repairs on Monday night.

Despite these efforts, residents like Zaid Qureshi noted that issues remain, including uncleared debris and garbage on the roads, which could create difficulties for visitors during Ramzan.
