NTPC Green Energy Enters MoU with Nxtra Data for Renewable Power.

NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nxtra Data Ltd to develop renewable energy projects aimed at supplying round-the-clock (RTC) power to Nxtra’s data centres across India.

The agreement was signed at NTPC Bhawan in New Delhi by Sarit Maheshwari, CEO of NGEL and NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, and Ashish Arora, CEO of Nxtra. Under the pact, the two companies will explore opportunities to set up renewable energy projects to meet Nxtra’s captive power requirements on a pan-India basis.

Nxtra Data, a data centre operator, is expected to benefit from reliable and clean energy supply as demand for digital infrastructure continues to grow in India. The partnership positions NGEL as a potential long-term green power provider to the expanding data centre sector.
