"Oswal Pumps Ltd has secured a contract valued at ₹119.92 crore from KREDL for the supply of solar pumps."

Oswal Pumps Ltd. has received an order worth ₹119.92 crore, inclusive of GST, from Karnataka Renewable Energy Developkment Ltd (KREDL) under the PM-KUSUM B scheme for the supply and installation of 3,263 off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems.

According to a media statement, the order covers the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of solar water pumping systems in capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP, 7.5 HP and 10 HP. The systems will be installed at identified farmers’ locations across Karnataka.

Commenting on the development, Vivek Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Oswal Pumps Ltd, said the order marks the company’s first major and comprehensive project in Karnataka and represents a key milestone in expanding its geographic footprint. He added that successful execution of the project is expected to strengthen the company’s presence in the state and support deeper market penetration, opening up larger opportunities in the future.
