OYO's Premium Brand 'Sunday' to Add 40 New Hotels in FY26.
OYO's parent company, Prism, is accelerating the expansion of its premium hotel brand, Sunday, with a plan to add 40 new upscale properties across India in the current financial year. The move comes as the company prepares for its anticipated Initial Public Offering (IPO).
The expansion will focus on a mix of metro and non-metro cities, as well as key tourist destinations, including wildlife sanctuaries and major religious sites. This strategy aims to cater to a diverse range of travelers seeking a premium hospitality experience.
According to company officials, the states of Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan are expected to be the primary drivers of this growth, collectively accounting for over 40% of the brand’s new portfolio in FY26. The new properties will include a combination of 4-star and 5-star hotels, further solidifying Sunday's position in the luxury segment.
